Workstation Cranes Protect Products & Workers
Workstation cranes come in two types: bridge cranes and monorails.
Bridge cranes consist of a moving bridge that runs across parallel runways. On the bridge, there is commonly a hoist or other lifting devices, such as a manipulator or intelligent lifting device that travels across the bridge.
Bridge cranes cover rectangular work areas.
Monorail workstation cranes only have one runway, with the hoist or other lifting device running up and down that runway.
Monorail workstation cranes cover a left-to-right work area. Monorails are a great option for maximizing productivity in restricted spaces.
Workstation cranes can be enclosed track or I-beam.
Enclosed track workstation cranes have an unlimited length but are limited to a 34’ span (width) and a 4000lbs capacity.
I-beam workstation cranes can have a much larger footprint and capacity.
Workstation crane systems are primarily alleviate worker strain, enhance efficiency, protect products, minimize downtime, and optimize workflow.
