Custom Design & Build ServicesSafety equipment, primarily Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), includes gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and respirators, designed to protect workers from specific hazards such as falling objects, chemical splashes, noise, and electrical shocks. 

Proper selection, fit, maintenance, and training on the use of this equipment are crucial for its effectiveness.

Key Considerations for Safety Equipment:

• Hazard Assessment: The specific hazards of the work environment determine the necessary PPE. 
• Proper Fit & Maintenance: Equipment must fit properly and be kept in good working order, without tears or holes, to be effective. 
• Training: Employers are required to provide training on the proper use, limitations, and maintenance of PPE. 
• Employer Responsibilities: Employers must ensure access to correct, well-maintained PPE and pay for much of it when it is required to meet OSHA standards. 
• Employee Responsibilities: Workers must use the PPE correctly, maintain it, and report any defects to a supervisor.
