FRLs Filter, Regulate, & Lubricate Compressed Air in Pneumatic Systems
Filter Regulator Lubricators (FRLs) are a combination unit that filters, regulates, and lubricates compressed air used in pneumatic systems.
Air mixed with debris or water can cause improper function and severe damage to tooling and machinery. Unregulated air can also cause damage and affect the functionality of tools and machinery.
Some specialized tooling and machinery require air pressure to be well-regulated to properly set the torque of the tool or the function of the machinery.
Most pneumatic (air) controlled tooling and machinery also requires lubrication with oil. An FRL not only continuously mixes the air with oil, but it also mixes it with the correct amount of oil to prevent over-oiling the tool or machinery, which can also affect the performance of the tooling or machinery.
FRLs ensure that clean, appropriately pressurized, and properly lubricated air reaches pneumatic tools and machinery, preventing damage and optimizing performance.
